"Got another EAS Compilation for you folks. We had some severe storms move through my area on Memorial Day. It all kicks off around 3:45 PM and goes until around 5:30 PM. Sorry about the first few warnings how the WR-120 had a glare on the screen. That's because my drapes were open and I didn't realize that it was causing that glare. There are some parts where I leave the radio's audio on, that is so you can listen to the severe weather statements, I wish they would activate the radios for those statements, but they don't. A tornado briefly touched down west of Dyer, IN as you can hear in one of the severe weather statements. UA-cam link for videos of that tornado: ua-cam.com/users/results?searc... What type of radio was in the video?

I’m not sure if you guys saw the news but on Wednesday their was a small tornado outbreak in Maryland and at least 3 reported tornadoes were on the ground killing only 1 person but these tornadoes were in Montgomery County and in parts of Baltimore and the last one that started in Leesburg, VA made its way over to Gaithersburg before dissipating. All of this occurred in the evening, before the sun went down. And all tornadoes were reported as EF-0's and caused little to moderate damage and I have captured around 12 Tornado Warnings, 3 Special Marine Warnings, 1 Flash Flood Warning, 1 Flood Watch. Note: The Tornado that started in Leesburg passed right by my neighborhood and we just barely missed it. The Tornado that was in Gaithersburg started in Poolesville or Darnestown. I also received an Unrecognized Message but was actually just another tornado warning.

I’m glad I live in Florida we don’t have sirens wish we did for safety I’m in middleburg Florida in clay county witch is still considered a part of Jacksonville in the mid 2000s I’m not sure if I was still in school then but Jacksonville had an ef3 tornado hit the west side of Jacksonville my mom was coming home from work and was going over the bridge and she saw it she said it was scary and when I was still in school in green cove springs we had a tornado come less than 100 ft from my school room my principal at that time didn’t have us evacuate stupidly he said we were fine bullcrap that tornado was just across the street we were lucky it didn’t hit us the principal we had at that time was an idiot he didn’t know where that tornado was going to go he’s very lucky it didn’t hit or he’d have been in big trouble if anybody got hurt or worse die it was scary for the damage it did I think that tornado was an ef2 that would have been bad if that tornado would have hit a portable we got lucky that’s why it’s important for principals of schools to do their jobs and evacuate students to safety tornadoes are no joke

You were lucky that the town was saved. Had that storm maintained its strength to drop a tornado, that would've likely hit EF4 or possibly an EF5
